เป็นเหล็กงานร้อน มีความแข็งและเหนียว ทนต่อการเสียดสีขณะใช้งานที่มีอุณหภูมิสูง ใช้ทำแม่พิมพ์อัด และฉีดอลูมิเนียม ทองแดงผสม แม่พิมพ์หมุดย้ำ และแม่พิมพ์งานร้อนทั่วไป มาสภาพอบอ่อนไม่เกิน 231 HB
Applications
Hot work steel. High hot tensile strength, hot wear-resistance and toughness. Good thermal conductivity and insusceptibility to hot cracking. Can be water-cooled to a limited extent. Universally applicable hot work steel. Pressure casting dies and metal extrusion tools for the processing of light metals, forging dies, moulds, worms and cylinders for the processing of plastics, nitride ejectors, hot shear blades. Supply in annealed condition hardness not more than 231 HB

High hot tensile strength and retention to tempering, high harden ability, low tendency to distortion. Forging dies, pressure casting dies, heavy-metal inner liners, profile dies, mandrels. Supply in annealed condition hardness not more than 231 HB

Applications
Tough not work die steel with better retention to tempering and better ability of full quenching and tempering. This steel is usually supplied in the as-annealed condition or heat-treated to working hardness of 350-390 HB. Standard steel for forging dies of all types, press dies for mould parts, hot shear blades, extrusion rams, die holders, shielded clipping beds.
